If you haven't done it: this is your Chance. It's better & better with every release ... And trust me: don't go under the Pro Version or you'll miss a lot of nice features which comes very handy when you try to realize the ideas which crawling in your mind !
If you have a rich uncle, grandma or enough money by yourself: go above the Pro. That's my advice. In this way it's not the tool when you make boring pictures ;-)).

. . .Meet Eva!!
She's been a long time in production. 1000s of hours. She is about as perfect a figure as Poser will allow. Not meaning to sound boastful there, I refer to the bending and movement.
She is a higher resolution figure. She is 116,000 Polygons. V4 is ~74,000.
This means more detail can be morphed into Eva.
Similar in size and shape to V4 so that there won't be a major hastle in trying to get your vast libraries acclimated to her.

In an on-going effort to support our international community, Renderosity has launched its first wave of foreign language support in our forums by adding the German and French language forums! Each forum has team members that are native speakers of each language, which will offer a more comfortable atmosphere for non-English speakers to better aid their growth as a digital artist.

But at the time the most models are low poly and from google .... just try it and see if it fit your needs.

Thinking about the ability of importing collada data in several 3D apps. I know most of the major players have it, but there is no information about the new Poser 8 ... (Poser Pro, which means the extended version 7 have it). Does anyone know more? Drop me a line via twitter so far ...
